Universal Banker is a key position at the Credit Union, and we are looking for people who are responsible, detail-oriented, who like collaborating with people and have a positive attitude.
Responsibilities for Universal Banker
- Open accounts for new members in compliance with the required identification procedures & account maintenance.
- Identify the needs of new and existing members and offer appropriate services, options & solutions.
- Answering member questions and concerns.
- Proactively identify and inform members of available products & services.
- Perform teller duties which include handling cash & assisting other tellers.
Qualifications & Requirements for Universal Banker
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Two years’ customer service and/or sales experience.
- Good verbal & written communication skills.
- Good attendance record.
- Personal organization, the ability to prioritize tasks, & use time & resources efficiently to accomplish assignments.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to follow procedures, work independently & maintain confidentiality.
Job Type: Full-time and Part-Time positions.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour and higher depending on experience and qualifications.

If you have ever wanted to learn more about the operations of a credit union, consider volunteering as a Supervisory Committee member. The primary role of the Supervisory Committee is to coordinate the hiring of the external auditing company and report the findings of the audit. Additional responsibilities of the supervisory committee include meeting at least quarterly to discuss the committee’s audit findings on special audit projects performed by committee members. The time requirements are approximately 2-3 hours per month. Resumes are now being accepted for this volunteer position.
